What To Expect At Keystone Ski Resort
Keystone ski resort is in the popular Vail area of Colorado and offers everything you could ask for in a ski resort. At Keystone, you get access to three mountains -- Dercum Mountain, North Peak and Outback. 121 trails mean there's something for every skier, from the newbie to the expert. At Keystone's A51 Terrain Park, snowboarders get to navigate through a challenging number of features like pipes, ramps and rails. There's night skiing and snowboarding at this resort, providing fun and adventure even after the sun goes down!
If you've got a competitive streak, you'll love the NASTAR racing. NASTAR is the biggest ski racing program in the world today and is held at many resorts. At Loveland, you can race with a member of the US Olympic Racers and see how you stack up against other racers from around the country. Or, you can simply race with a friend for fun. There's even a Wednesday night racing league for people who love to compete. Maybe you've never skied or snowboarded before and couldn't even think of competing. If so, why not take lessons? Loveland offers group and private instruction for all ages!
At the villages at Keystone, there are so many things to see and do that you won't know where to start. The first thing you'll notice is the wide variety of fine dining establishments in the area. In addition to fun cafes and fast food joints, there are many gourmet restaurants that offer the most incredible cuisine found anywhere. For example, the world-renowned Alpenglow Stube offers succulent wood-fired filet mignon and amazing roast duck. There are also lots of fun night spots at this resort, offering drinks, dancing and live music. If you love to shop, you'll find lots of great stores, shops and boutiques in the village areas also. And for the ultimate in relaxation, head to the Keystone Lodge Spa and Fitness Center for a massage, facial or workout.
Accommodations at the Keystone ski resort are as varied as its activities. In the several villages, there are incredible condos and townhomes that feature fantastic benefits such as fireplaces, Jacuzzi tubs, beautiful decor and plenty of room. The exact features you can expect will depend on the lodging you choose. With all the fun and adventure at this resort, however, you probably won't be in your room very often!
